1-to-1 Hebrew Tutoring – Students meet weekly for 20 to 30 minutes with one of tutors who guide them through our curriculum at their own pace, focusing their time and efforts on the skills they are mastering in the moment; students who need extra support can receive it, while those who are able to fly can do so as well.

Hebrew Through Movement – Our K-3rd grade students are introduced to Hebrew with their whole bodies as they learn vocabulary words and Hebrew sounds in an interactive and experiential game. The instructor will share a key phrase, and students will mimic the action – learning Hebrew as they did English!

Teen Role Models (Madrichim) – Hebrew for guide, our madrichim, many of our teens elect to volunteer in our school by serving as classroom assistants for younger grades. They received training and support from our dedicated team of educators to ensure they are providing appropriate social and emotional care of students.

Responsive Classroom – First introduced with our faculty for the 2023-2024, and continuing in 24-25 with ongoing training, we are one of the only congregational schools to work with the methodology of this international group focused on making our lessons student-centered, safe, and joyful for all.

3rd Grade Hebrew – NEW this year, 3rd grades who are eager to get a head start on Hebrew learning will be able to do so with an opt-in option to Hebrew tutoring! We are excited to support this new initiative that will allow students to deepen their connection to our tradition and to t’filah!

Academy Travel Seminars – We are excited to announce our return to Israel for 10th-12th graders, and the new destination of Arizona where our 8th & 9th graders will explore immigration justice. Trips are open to all Jewish teens, space permitting, so sign up quickly to lock-in your teen’s spot.

1-to-1 B’nai Mitzvah Process – Our unique size allows ALL B’nai Mitzvah students the opportunity to work individually with ALL members of our clergy team at various stages of their learning process.

With the anticipated completion of our building renovations, and a growing school and temple community, it is an incredible moment to be part of our Religious School.

Our varied and robust curricula give students the chance to interact with our rich tradition and culture through contemporary lenses, helping them develop a sense of personal relevance and understanding. The recent updates to our physical space will only help to advance these goals in ways that we can only begin to imagine.

As in years past, we will provide opportunities for students to deepen their understanding of Judaism, its history, values, and language.
