Rabbi Hayley Siegel is a born and raised Upper East Sider who grew up just blocks from Temple Israel. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa with B.A. in Jewish Studies from Trinity College and started her rabbinical studies at the Academy for Jewish Religion shortly thereafter. During her time in seminary, she served as the Rabbinical Intern at 92YTribeca, where she led twice monthly Shabbat dinners, High Holy Days, and Jewish learning opportunities for young adults. After receiving her Rabbinical Ordination from the Academy for Jewish Religion and a M.A. in Jewish Education from Gratz College, she taught at NY’s Derekh Torah program.
Most recently, Rabbi Siegel has been teaching the “Introduction to Judaism” course at Temple Israel for five years, as well as classes on biblical women and Jewish Values.
Rabbi Siegel and her husband Aaron are the proud parents of two active boys. You can always find the Siegel family passionately cheering on the Mets and walking in Central Park with their dog, Reggie.
