Who We Are

With New York City as our stage, NYConnect (a Temple Israel of the City of New York Project) creates opportunities for adults in their 20s & 30s to experience life and celebrate Judaism together. Through informal social gatherings, meaningful conversations, spiritual/ritual events, and cultural and educational programs, young professionals – whether it’s 10 or 100 people – connect with each other, with Judaism, and with opportunities for growth and engagement. New to the City or just looking to connect, join us; our community is always open. At NYConnect, you belong!

NYConnect Membership at Temple Israel

Temple Israel deeply values its younger members and is pleased to offer a special NYConnect Membership. NYConnect Membership includes:

• Annually sold-out Sukkot Tailgating and Passover Seder
• Shabbat Experiences throughout the year featuring Hadar Orshalimy & Sheldon Low
• High Holy Day Services
• Volunteer and other social justice opportunities like Rise Against Hunger and Mitzvah Day
